The Chihuahuan Desert Education Coalition (CDEC) is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a bigger and better two-day event the weekend of September 21-22.

Day One will be at the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens. You can see who is coming and a schedule of entertainment here. On Day Two a number of hiking leaders from our area have scheduled several hikes at the Tom Mays Park on the west side at the Franklin Mountain State Park, plus CDEC members from Juarez are planning a guided walk plus a Biodiversity Fair. Reservations are required and there’s still time to sign up for one of these hikes. Reservations are not needed for the Biodiversity Fair in Juarez.
