August Online Zoo Adventure Schedule
The Education Team had such a great summer teaching about our Zoo animals, wildlife and wild places through our Summer ZAPs! Taking a slight turn, August will be a celebration of our animals through FREE online programs that feature different animals here at the Zoo!
Did you know that throughout the year, there are numerous animal holidays in each month. These holidays are meant to celebrate the amazing creatures that live on this planet, as well as raise awareness of the challenges species face and inspire people to take conservation action. That said, August is Asian Elephant Awareness month and has a few world animal days that celebrate some of your El Paso Zoo animals.
Join us for these FREE Zoom programs to learn more about our animals, as well as what you can do to take action and help protect them in the wild. Registration is not required for these programs, but will be limited to 95 Zoom log-in users on a first-come, first-served basis. The Zoom meetings will open 10 minutes before the scheduled start time and participants will be admitted until our limit is reached.

Throughout the year, there are animal holidays sprinkled throughout each month. While we always celebrate our animals here at the Zoo, we want to invite our community to help us celebrate some of these days in August!
Group Zoo Adventure Programs are designed for your group (schools, youth groups, scouts, camps, work groups, birthday parties, etc.) to register for one of five TEKS-aligned and STEAM-focused curriculum programs or for a custom program designed to fit the interests of your group. While these programs are FREE, we do ask that one group leader registers for the entire group. Once confirmed, a meeting invitation will be sent for the group leader to share with all participants.
