
Before the internet, life was slower and less reliant on instant access to information and communication. People relied on traditional media like newspapers, television, and radio for news and entertainment. Information gathering involved visiting libraries, consulting encyclopedias, or waiting for educational programs.
The history of the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens is pretty amazing. We have come along way over the years with our exhibits and focus on saving endangered species. An old 1990 black and white guidebook to the Zoo gives us a picture of how life was like at the Zoo over the 35 years ago.
